I have been living in Bognor Regis since 2008 after moving here for my specialist orthodontic training in Portsmouth at the Queen Alexandra Hospital. Before moving south, I graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 2007, attained my dental degree from the University of Glasgow University in 2005 and degree in Microbiology in 2000 from the University of Cork. As part of my Specialist Orthodontic training, I gained a Masters degree from the University of Bristol and passed the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2011 allowing me to register as an Orthodontic Specialist.
To date, I have improved the smiles of over 4,000 patients who have entrusted their orthodontic treatment to me. In a world that is ever more focused on the appearance of someone’s smile, I love being involved in transforming my patients’ self-confidence and creating a smile that can change their life.
My specialist training focused heavily on the use of modern techniques and avoiding the unnecessary extraction of healthy teeth whenever possible; a philosophy which I continue to believe in today. I particularly enjoy treatment which involves working with other members of the dental profession to provide a holistic approach to patient care, something which working at Dove allows me to do.
Outside orthodontics, I have a hectic family life chasing around after two very active boys, cycling, walking, skiing and playing anything that involves a ball. I love to travel, with my family, but then also love to return home to life by the beach in the sunny south.
